FACILITATING ACCESS TO MEDICAL OXYGEN FOR RURAL COMMUNITIES IN LOW AND MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES
Medical oxygen is critical for treating notably pneumonia, which claims the lives of more than 800,000 children under five years old every year(1) in the world. Yet wide gaps in access remain in most low- and middle-income countries.
To help reduce child mortality, Air Liquide is expanding its partnerships with NGOs(2) to provide medical oxygen across those countries and open up access to their inhabitants.
