This year has led us to review the events during which we meet, which we are very attached to, to maintain contact, even remotely. The Annual General Meeting was adapted to ensure the safety of both shareholders and employees. We also believed that it was important to maintain discussions by enabling you to submit your questions via a dedicated platform. Almost 300 questions were received in this way and, on May 5, for more than forty minutes, Benoit Potier was able to answer them during the live stream. Despite being held behind closed doors, the Annual General Meeting was followed live by more than 2,500 people and watched on replay more that 38,000 times.
As we were unable this year to come and meet you locally, as we usually do, or during the Investir Day event in Paris, we created a new 100%-digital meet up: “Génération Hydrogène”. We were keen to continue to discuss a societal and environmental subject that you are passionate about - hydrogen.
With more than 500 questions collected, more than 10,000 people connected live on December 10, 2020 and almost 60,000 views of the program replay, you confirmed major interest in this subject and for the new digital format available to you. During this program, you were able to learn more about Benoît Potier’s vision for the development of this molecule full of potential, as well as the point of view of Bertrand Piccard, Initiator and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation and even the passion of Philippe Croizon, the adventurer who has placed hydrogen at the heart of his next challenge.
When I bought Air Liquide shares, it was out of curiosity as a 'good family man'. Over the years, I have discovered an exciting company at the heart of unsuspected innovations. Today I admire its commitment
